Trip Info:
Dates: 8 days between May 15 - 30
Cost: Appx. $1,200 / person (all inclusive except your Passport, which is REQUIRED)
Transportation: We will be flying straight into Mexico City from Houston, TX
Ministry: This trip offers a variety of ministry opportunities, including church speaking, children's ministry, street ministry, college ministry, and more!
Lodging: Team members will be paired/grouped and stay in a hotel.
Requirements:
- Complete and turn in before the deadline (TBA) two required applications and one confidential reference form by your small group leader.
- Attend a weekend training retreat (April 15-17) out of town, in addition to various local team meetings.
- Team members work to raise the cost of your trip by writing letters to family and friends, informing them of the trip and asking for donations towards the cost of your trip. Money is raised individually and spent as a team, which means any extra money you raise would fall into the team's general fund; in the event the team raises extra overall, extra funds roll over into the Sam Houston general missions fund. (All trip funds will be processed and receipted through Sam Houston Chi Alpha's missions department.) *If you were a member of the Arizona team two years ago, I will check on the status of the leftover money from our trips that year. Those were special circumstances; but I would still not count on those funds still being available.
