We will be hanging out at the XA House (not the Cafe), eating pancakes, generally having a good time... and you should take a break from studying to come see us one last time before summer! And bring your roommate, too - he/she could use some fun!

My favorite night of the year - come to Service and be part of celebrating what God has done this year in the lives of our friends who are getting water baptized! It's going to be a beautiful night - worship, short talk from Derrick, water baptisms, and maybe a little more worship!

MISSIONS OFFERING!!!

Most of you heard through small groups before Spring Break about our special missions offering for this month's XA Service. We wanted to remind you to bring your offering tomorrow night if you are going to participate. :)

For those who might not have heard yet, SFA Chi Alpha is sending 7 students to Guadalajara this May with me and Derrick to help launch a new Chi Alpha group at the University of Guadalajara. I have been to work with Angela, the Chi Alpha director in Guadalajara, two years ago and she is a wonderful woman with a strong desire to see a group thrive on those campuses (there are 14 within the city just at the one college - needless to say, they're set up a bit different than universities here in the states!). We have been working hard all semester to raise funds and still have a bit to go before completing their budgets. We thought it would be a great idea for the larger Chi Alpha body to help send them to Mexico!

To that end, we are going to take up a special missions offering this Monday night at our monthly XA Service. 100% of the money received will fund the students' trips to Mexico. We are challenging ourselves and you to GIVE AN AMOUNT SIGNIFICANT TO YOU, whatever that might be! It would be easy to toss in the change from our pockets - but for most of us, that would not be significant. We are asking you to think about how much you want to give before you get to service tomorrow night and come ready to participate. We want to be generous with our support of so worthy a cause! So give with all your heart and get excited with us about being part of the trip to Guadalajara this May!
